The prize is open for applications from any Cambridge student keen to pursue early-stage tech ideas and commercialise their research. Undergraduates, postgraduates and early career researchers at Cambridge are encouraged to apply. At least one member of each team needs to be a member of the University of Cambridge.

New for 2021, all finalists will enjoy a 3 month program of relevant mentoring and complimentary membership of the state-of-the-art Bradfield Centre, the leading entrepreneurial hub in the region.

The 2021 winners will be announced on the night by Sir Gregory Winter who is best known for developing new classes of antibody-based drugs to treat cancer and auto-immune diseases, which have revolutionised the pharmaceutical industry.

There will be limited tickets to attend in person at The Bradfield Centre, plus tickets to watch the live stream of the event.

Entries to the prize close on the 23rd October 2021.
