For Students

Catch the entrepreneurial bug

A key role of The Bradfield Centre is to support and nurture interest in STEM subjects across all student age ranges, and present entrepreneurship as a valid career path. We run hundreds of free to attend events throughout the year to help connect students with the region's Tech community, build knowledge, create connections and opportunities. In addition to the events, we also partner with various institutions to drive specific collaborative outcomes and run programs to encourage the next generation.

Trinity Bradfield Prize

Our flagship program in partnership with Trinity College Cambridge. The Trinity Bradfield Prize is our annual competition to find and nurture the best technology concepts and startup ideas from across The University of Cambridge. Our inaugural cohort in 2018 are working on future battery technologies, drivetrains for electric vehicles and sterile 3D printed surgical aids for neonatal heart surgery. Our lastest 2019 cohort is developing an anti-counterfeiting platform and self-learning AI. The prize application window runs each summer through to the award presentation ceremony in October. Winners receive a cash prize and 3 months incubation and support from The Bradfield Centre.
