The 2018 edition of the popular Silicon Valley Comes To The UK is just around the corner.

This series of talks will bring together speakers from the US and the UK to explore the changes that technology will bring to the future, and its implications for humanity. Inspirational speakers will discuss and debate the power of technology to transform an industry, and the ethical considerations for the future of society itself. Visiting guest speakers include Susan Alzner from Shift7 and Sarah Hunter from Google X.

1. Starting and Scaling a business
This masterclass will discuss tips in starting and scaling a business here in the UK and in the US. Guest speakers include: Rahul Vohra from Superhuman, Christie Pitts from Backstage Capital and James Parton from The Bradfield Centre formerly Twilio.

2. Inclusive Innovation
This masterclass will discuss how creating and building a diverse and representational workforce can help foster a more dynamic, innovative and successful technology business. Guest speakers include: Susan Alzner from Shift7, Ashley Sumner from Quilt and Elpie Bannister from Simprints formerly ARM.

3. Access to the US
This masterclass will attempt to demystify the idea of ‘making it in the Valley’, by discussing how tech businesses and entrepreneurs can create partnerships, engage with networks and access investment in both Silicon Valley and in the U.K. Guest speakers include: Karen Appleton Page, X Fund formerly Box, Kara Goldin from Hint Water and Priya Guha, RocketSpace.
