Matt Colley, of Edidit, has 20 years of experience in the editorial sector. He’s worked for newspapers, agencies and global blue-chip clients, and has created, curated and edited content across a vast cross-section of industry sectors. In this interactive workshop, Matt will share his expertise in order to help you achieve more with your content. The workshop will include two sections:
1) How to Write: Looking at your audience, your tone of voice and your writing style to make your business or brand as compelling as possible in a crowded marketplace.
2) Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar: You don’t have to be a language expert to make your messaging error-free. Matt will share some helpful tips from his experience as a freelance proof-reader, as well as inviting people to take part in a game of ‘typo bingo’.
Time permitting, the workshop will end with a Q&A session where Matt will attempt to answer any questions you may have about any aspect of content creation.
