Impact Women's Network (IWN)

Cofounded by Faye Holland (Founder, cofinitive PR & communications agency) and Shima Barakat (University of Cambridge), Impact Women’s Network (IWN) Network is a network of female professionals united in raising the public visibility of impactful women and instigating even greater change together, beyond individuals and individual organisations.
The network meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month, 9am-11am, sharing and developing cutting edge practices that have had a profound impact on its members and their businesses - and tackling diverse issues such as climate change, responsibility for our own health, making your first million-pound sale and closing the gender gap through investment and entrepreneurship. For 2020, the monthly sessions are focusing on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Registration for each session is free and via Eventbrite.

CoderDojo

The CoderDojo movement believes that an understanding of programming languages is increasingly important in the modern world, that it’s both better and easier to learn these skills early, and that nobody should be denied the opportunity to do so.
To that end, we’ve built a global network of free, volunteer-led, community-based programming clubs for young people. Anyone aged seven to seventeen can visit a Dojo where they can learn to code, build a website, create an app or a game, and explore technology in an informal, creative, and social environment.
