What is Code Club?
Code Club is a global community of coding clubs where young people develop the skills and confidence to become digital tech creators. At Code Club, we think all young people should have the opportunity to learn to code, no matter who they are or where they come from.
How does it work?
Code Clubs are run by leaders and mentors who volunteer their time, experience, and passion to inspire the next generation of digital creators to shape the world around them. Mentors have a wide range of skills and backgrounds.
Code Club provides free, fun, step-by-step projects and pathways that can be used to make games, animations, websites and more with code. The projects introduce coding concepts one by one so young people can progressively build their knowledge using languages like Scratch, HTML/ CSS, and Python.
Volunteers can access lots of useful resources to help them run their club, including our Club Leader Guide, downloadable certificates and posters. Our team provides help and support through local training workshops, community events, and online information sessions.
Why should you get involved with Code Club?
Empower the next generation
Develop future talent
Build your own skills in mentoring, organisation, and of course, coding
